VARA's 18th Annual B.E. The Vintage Auto Racing Association invites all VARA members and SVRA West members to attend the 18th Annual British Extravaganza at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. As always, this event will feature the British Concours of cars. In addition to VARA's normal run groups, the event will have feature races including the MG, Mini, Sprite, and Triumph Challenge Race* and the Pre-War/Historic Run Group (*other small bore British Cars will be invited in the specialty race).
For additional entertainment, there's the now-famous Saturday Night BBQ with music, dancing, Karaoke, etc. Each race entry will receive two BBQ tickets. The BBQ benefits the Scholarship Program for the Buttonwillow Chamber of Commerce. (Additional BBQ tickets may be purchased for $15.)

British Concours of Cars
Marques from all over the United States are invited for popular vote awards. The car show participants will enjoy track drives and a slalom competition. Download a concours entry form.

T.A.B.S. 2.5 Challenge West Series
The second race of the series - all sedans invited. This race-within-a-race* will award points for participation and finishing position, with podium trophies for the top three finishers (*this race is run within the VARA run groups; eligible cars will also receive VARA class points). New and Unlicensed Drivers
Unlicensed drivers and drivers running for the first time with VARA must sign up for Ground/Rookie School ($50 fee), which will be held on Friday night, May 3rd at 6:00 pm, upstairs in the 'tower'. Ground School is mandatory for first-time drivers. For Ground School or licensing questions, please
VARA requires each participant have a physical exam every two years. If you do not have a current medical, get a form here.
Medical cards from other approved organizations are acceptable. All race cars must have a log book and meet VARA eligibility requirements.
